Cabinet Dentaire de Nyon opened in January 2017, continuing an existing local dental tradition while developing a modern and warm environment. Dr Michellod remained during the first year to introduce patients to Dr Mihai Banica Cerreoni, helping the transition feel familiar and reassuring. In 2020, the practice was renovated with a fresher and more welcoming atmosphere for patients of all ages today.

Dr Mihai Banica Cerreoni
Dr Mihai Banica Cerreoni graduated in Dental Medicine from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 1996, with honours from the examining board. He then specialised in oral surgery in 2000.
He subsequently trained in the fields of periodontal surgery, implant surgery and bone regeneration.
A professor and tutor in various surgery courses in Italy and abroad, Dr Banica Cerreoni has acquired more than 20 years of experience.
His mainly surgical training allows him to manage and resolve complex cases, such as implant placement requiring significant bone or gum reconstruction, complicated wisdom tooth extractions, and jaw cysts.
His long experience in computer-assisted surgery enables him to offer minimally invasive treatments.
His skills in intravenous sedation and nitrous oxide sedation, also known as laughing gas, allow patients to undergo procedures comfortably and in complete safety.
Thanks to his many years of experience as a medical director, Dr Banica Cerreoni has an in-depth knowledge of dental techniques and is able to integrate different areas of dentistry in order to provide optimal comprehensive treatment.
Beyond his many professional commitments, he is also passionate about the mountains, sailing and athletics.


Dr Olivier Quinty
Dr Olivier Quinty is a specialist in orthodontics, with postgraduate specialist training and European specialist recognition in dentofacial orthopaedics.
He is Maître Assistant and course lecturer at the University of Geneva.
He also holds the EUMAA European Master of Aligners, a university diploma in oral aesthetics, and a university diploma in medical expertise.
Dr Quinty is also an international speaker, including at AEEDC Dubai.


Dr Piero Parisini, DMD, MSc
Dr Piero Parisini graduated in Dental Medicine from the University of Parma, Italy, after first qualifying as a dental technician. This background gives him a broad and complete vision of dental techniques, from A to Z.
He later obtained a PhD in Reconstructive and Aesthetic Dentistry from the University of Parma, Italy.
Over many years of study, Dr Parisini has deepened his knowledge in the fields of conservative dentistry and endodontics, attending numerous training courses. He also obtained a second-level University Master’s Degree in Dental Clinic with Advanced Technologies from the prestigious University of Bologna, Italy.
He subsequently obtained a Master of Advanced Studies and completed a postgraduate programme in Reconstructive Dentistry in the Division of Fixed Prosthodontics and Occlusodontics at the University of Geneva.
At the same University of Geneva, he also obtained a Master’s degree in minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry.
He was a Visiting Researcher at “The Don and Sybil Harrington Esthetic Dentistry, Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry”, USC, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, United States.
Dr Parisini has published several scientific articles in international journals specialising in reconstructive and aesthetic dentistry, and he is an international speaker.
He has worked as a teaching assistant for students in the Division of Cariology at the University of Geneva and is currently Head of Clinical Training at the Swiss International Academy of Osseointegration (SIAO).
He is a member of AMDG-SSO in Switzerland, OMCO in Italy — the Italian Order of Physicians, Surgeons and Dentists — and AIOP, the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry.
Dr Parisini mainly practises in the field of reconstructive and aesthetic dentistry, with a particular focus on complex full-mouth rehabilitation cases.
Outside dentistry, Piero played American football professionally for 20 years. He loves skiing, seaside and outdoor activities, discovery travel and art.


Dr Kaira Grieder

A graduate of the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Geneva, Dr Kaira Grieder is convinced that this demanding profession uniquely combines medicine, high technology and craftsmanship.
Jovial and sociable by nature, she places great importance on human connection, which she considers essential for creating a sense of trust and safety with her patients.
In her free time, Dr Grieder enjoys practising various sports, including yoga, tennis, golf and horse riding.
Her daily challenge is to meet her patients’ expectations by aiming for the best possible result in every treatment, while ensuring they leave satisfied with their care and with a radiant smile.


Miriam Gelmini
Miriam could be described as a “citizen of the world”. After graduating from the Hotel Management School in Italy, where she learned the art of hospitality and empathy, she set off to discover the world.
In Germany, she learned how to manage situations with structure and how to organise herself in order to carry out her tasks in the best possible way.
In New York, at a time when there was no internet or mobile phones, she had to find solutions to last-minute unexpected situations. There, she developed the ability to successfully manage different tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy working environment.
In Barcelona, she took on a new challenge: creating a team.
In Rome, where she organised several large-scale events, from 40 to 1,000 people, she strengthened her skills in creating, establishing and managing procedures to ensure efficiency, training new employees, keeping budgets up to date and motivating staff.
Family is very important to her. For this reason, in 2015 she followed her husband to Switzerland, giving her children the opportunity to grow up with a Swiss mindset while keeping their Italian imagination.


Cristina Ruopolo
Cristina Ruopolo graduated in Dental Hygiene in 2014 with a thesis on the “Management of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and oxidative stress”, reflecting her interest in a comprehensive approach to patient care through the many connections between the mouth and general health.
Her continuing education subsequently focused on Dental Implant Management in 2015, Soft Tissue Management and Oral Pathology in 2018, Periodontal Patient Management in 2018, and Laser Treatment in Periodontal Therapy in 2019.
Since 2021, she has obtained a diploma in Local Anaesthesia for Dental Hygienists at the CUMD in Geneva.
Thanks to her skills and passion, she has become a trainer for Guided Biofilm Therapy at EMS in Nyon, Vaud, a world leader in the production of prophylaxis devices.
Her areas of expertise include soft tissue management, screening for oral lesions, oral prophylaxis, periodontal treatment, whitening procedures, laser treatment, anaesthesia and digital radiography.
“For me, communication with patients is very important. It is essential to convey the importance of good oral hygiene, as we are well aware of its links with general health.
That is why I am passionate about periodontology and its connections with overall health.”
Beyond her interest in dentistry, Cristina enjoys travelling, yoga, playing the piano, her cat and good food.
